A walk through on taking the bus to Luleå and other cities in Swedish Lapland.
From the bus station, Loet, you can travel all over Norrbotten County and Swedish Lapland – and back to Luleå. Every day, several buses depart here, taking you to our neighbouring cities along the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, such as Piteå, Skellefteå, Kalix and Haparanda. The large blue buses, the coastal buses, are great for those of you who plan on visiting one or more of these towns and cities.
You can also travel to Umeå on one of the coastal buses.
If you are planning on going to Älvsbyn or Arvidsjaur, or even Boden, Gällivare or Kiruna, there are services to these places too. Buses from Luleå to the above locations normally depart several times daily. For more information, please visit the regional transport authority, Länstrafiken Norrbotten website.
