This fall, Albin Lee Meldau is going on a concert hall tour that has been named "Hommage in Swedish". Albin and his musicians will play the favorites from their own repertoire but also from our repertoire with music from, among others, Fred Åkerström, Cornelis Vreeswijk and Alf Robertson. It will be intimate, warm concerts that are unplugged and the musicians will switch between different instruments to create a musical variety that, together with Albin's voice, will offer all the colors that the Swedish song contains.
"It will be so much fun to bring these fantastic musicians on tour and share my absolute favorites from my own songs but also some music from these legendary music makers. When we planned this tour, we envisioned the 60s sound, the one that was a little more acoustic. Very much looking forward to meeting my audience at the concert halls this autumn.”
The band is Simon Söfelde (kapellmeister, guitar), Kalle Stenbäcken (piano + drums), Jon Henriksson (double bass), Axel Croné (clarinet, saxophone & flute), Amelie Evmark (violin, vocals) and Manuela Ferrão (cello).
