Jopikgården

Welcome to Jopikgården, a true gem in the Luleå archipelago.

You will find us on Hindersön, one of the largest islands in the Luleå archipelago. In winter, you can reach us via the ice road or the snowmobile trail, both of which start on the mainland at Hindersöstallarna. When the ice is thick enough, an ice road is cleared to Hindersön. The ice road is approximately 8 km long, and once on the island it is about 4 km by car to Jopikgården.

The snowmobile trail usually opens a few weeks earlier than the ice road. In addition to travelling by car or snowmobile, you can of course get here under your own power. Cycling is a great option (you can borrow a bicycle if you stay with us), as is skiing – or why not walking?

With us, you can choose between hotel rooms with private shower and toilet or hostel accommodation with shared shower and toilet. During the winter season, we are open on weekends for coffee and light meals, and in summer the restaurant is open for lighter dishes during the period when the tour boat is in operation. As a staying guest, you can always dine with us if you pre‑order lunch and dinner when making your reservation.
