Walpurgis night at Hägnan

Welcome to Hägnan's Walpurgis night celebration 'Valborgsmässoafton' ! Meet Valborg himself, have coffee at Fägnan, shop at the Village shop and listen to spring speeches and songs by the bonfire. You are also welcome to watch the twilight with us and watch the Walpurgis night bonfire slowly glow.

Program:
🔥 At 18.00 The fireplaces are lit for barbequing. Carve your own barbecue stick on site
🔥 At 18.00-19.30 Family screenings in Storgården. Aunt Valborg talks about why we celebrate Valborg and the maid Kristina tells about life in the old days
🔥 At 18.00-19.30 The emergency services show their fire engine (can be canceled if they have to go on an alarm)
🔥 At 18.00-20.00 Café Fägnan is open
🔥 At 18.00-20.00 Lanthandeln is open
🔥 At 19.40 Museum Director Hanna Ringbjer welcomes you in front of the bonfire
🔥 At 19.45-20.00 Municipal councilor Evelina Rydeker gives a spring speech
🔥 20.00 The bonfire is lit and the choir Lyran sings spring songs under the direction of Jonas Wasserman
🔥 20.30-onwards Cure twilight with our caretakers and watch the bonfire turn into embers
