Norrbotten Big Band takes on Electric Banana Band's awesome repertoire and forms Electric Banana Big Band. Original members Janne Schaffer, Lasse Åberg and Klas Möllberg are actively involved in the planning work and also participate in two exclusive public concerts, one of which is in Kulturens hus.
Here, catchy choruses about ecosystems are offered - and symbolic figures act with hope for a better world. The catchy mantra "in everything that moves, shines and sounds there is a battery that must be left behind" can be sung over and over again, without tiring, whether young or old. The pointers have long been put away and what remains is a scenic story about perhaps the most pressing question of our time, presented - and partly answered - in a child's way. The repertoire consists of a selection of favorites selected by the big band's artistic director Joakim Milder. Among them, a handful of clap-friendly medleys are promised.
