The Canadian band Horsebath was formed when members Mutter and Connolly met by chance in a parking lot in 2018. The unexpected meeting led to a shared adventure – a passion for music that was deepened through travel, interviews with artists and the creation of short film projects about Canada. During these trips, the band grew both as a group and musically, and when they later met bassist Etienne Beausoleil in Montreal, their sound gained another dimension. Their music is inspired by various influences, ranging from Texmex and country to Leonard Cohen.
The band is known for their energetic live performances and has already performed at several Canadian festivals. Their debut EP quickly became a success online and on January 7, their full album Another Farewell will finally be released. A full-length debut that bears traces of their various influences and contains a sense of adventure, longing and friendship.
