Luleå On Ice

Luleå on Ice is back and this year Luleå Municipality is putting an even greater focus on highlighting local players in both associations and businesses.

A warm welcome to Södra hamnplan for days full of activities for the whole family. The fireplaces will be lit for those of you who want to barbeque and for those of you who would rather have someone else cook the food, there will be food trucks with both local and international dishes.

Just like in previous years, we will be visited by Luleå's most cuddly and selfie trained reindeer, hold a children's tournament in ice hockey, Yukigassen / Swedish Championship in snowball fights, showcase snow sculptures created by participants from Sunderby Folkhögskola's art classes, offer sled friendly snow piles and much more.

Norrbottens Destilleri will build its own lounge under the harbour crane. There, visitors over the age of 18 will be able to enjoy locally produced drinks – served with the city's best view of both the ice rink and the Shaatsen Grand Prix competitions that take place in parallel with Luleå on Ice.
