If anyone can be called Sweden's Tina Turner, it is rightly Nanne Grönvall. To do all of Tina Turner's hits justice, it takes exactly the weight and pressure in Nanne's voice. The fact that she also moves completely unhindered on stage in sky-high pumps with stiletto heels is the icing on the cake.
- The idea of doing a tribute show to Tina Turner has been around for a long time. When Nanne got a gap in his schedule and had the opportunity to do this, together with us in the team behind, we were not slow to press the start button, says Peter Besterman, who is one of Sweden's most experienced tour and stage producers.
- I grew up with her music and was completely knocked out the first time I heard her voice and even more so when, as a child, I saw Tina on TV. Her energy went right through the TV screen, and so did when I, as an adult, saw her live for the first time. She has always been a great source of inspiration for me, musically as well as artistically, with her love for music, vitality and the audience, says Nanne Grönvall.
