Sarah Dawn Finer: Winterland – 15th Anniversary Tour
The most anticipated voice of winter is back. At the end of the year, Sarah Dawn Finer embarks on a tour to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her acclaimed album Winterland, a record that has become a tradition in many Swedish homes. Expect a long-awaited, warm, and musical concert experience as Sarah, together with some of Sweden’s finest musicians—Göran Eriksson, Ola Hedén, Anders Hedlund, and Thobias Gabrielson—performs songs from Winterland and her beloved seasonal repertoire.
The concert will feature original favorites from her winter albums as well as personal interpretations of cherished Christmas classics, inspired by artists such as Prince, Ron Sexsmith, Joni Mitchell, and Tori Amos, giving the evening a rich variety of genres. Winterland, released on November 3, 2010, was an instant success and became that year’s Christmas concert on SVT. The album was awarded a gold record and has since been followed by the Swedish sequel Vinterland, Christmas singles, and atmospheric duets that have become new holiday favorites.
