After four years of intensive work, Zacke released the album Noir, where he collaborated with artists such as Mwuana, Annika Norlin, Erik Lundin and Alma Augusta. The album is a powerful concept work that depicts promises, betrayal, hope and community in what he describes as "the new Norrland". Through songs such as Bottenviken, Håll i er, Blivit av and Himlavalvet, Zacke offers a musically gripping story that moves among factories, rivers and squares - places where people live with the consequences of the grandiose plans of politicians and investors. All skillfully translated into music that breathes both revolution and pop.
Zacke debuted in 2010 with the album Vists är det vackert and followed up with Renhjärtat in 2013. His big breakthrough came in 2016 with the critically acclaimed and twice Grammy-nominated album Fattigkussen. During his 15-year career, he has established himself as one of Sweden's most original voices in Swedish hip-hop, praised for his sharp social commentary, his unique musicality and stage presence.
The album Pengar. Frihet. Zakaria Jamal (2021) earned him his third Grammy nomination and SKAP's award for Lyricist of the Year. In the jury's motivation, he was highlighted as an artist who, with artistry and a flair for lyric writing, has put Luleå on the hip-hop map.
Between tour dates in October, the rapper visited På spåret where he performed a song together with First Aid Kit.
Experience Zacke on his home turf when he comes to Kulturens hus on March 14th.
