Discover Nature Around Luleå: Bat Evening

Join us for an evening of bat watching in and around the Kalvholmen Nature Reserve on Hertsön.

We'll walk along unlit roads and pathways in the dark, using ultrasonic bat detectors to hopefully hear bats hunting insects in the air above us.

Where:
Meet at the intersection of Gamla Lövskärsvägen and Avaviksvägen, Hertsön. The nearest bus stop is Kråkörvägen.

What to bring:
Wear sturdy shoes suitable for wet grass. You may also want to bring a headlamp or flashlight. A limited number of bat detectors will be available to borrow on site.
