The choreography is by Åsa Heedman, and on stage we meet Jacob Börlin, Demba Niang, and Daniel Heedman — three dancers with different backgrounds, life experiences, and physical languages, united by their love of dance. Together, they challenge norms, break down prejudices, and explore questions about identity and masculinity. Who can I be as a man?
Set to newly composed music by rapper, producer, and artist Zacke Lekberg, Man up! emerges as a modern and thought-provoking performance with a strong pulse, presence, and attitude. It is a stage experience that moves, entertains, and raises questions — where the expressions of street dance from different generations and cultures meet in a contemporary story about masculinity.
Man Up!
