Winter break activities at Hägnan
Come and spend the winter break with us at the open-air museum Hägnan!
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday March 3-5, 2026.
Program
12 PM-3 PM, Crafting in Gårdshuset (the lodge).
12 PM-3 PM, Thursday, bread baking for children at the Peri-Hanscha farmhouse, 20 SEK/bread.
12 PM-3 PM, the little chalet ski race for children.
12 PM-3 PM, The Country Store is open.
11 AM-3:30 PM, Kafé Fägnan is open.
In addition, the area is open for outdoor play and barbecues. Try our sledges or go skiing on the ski trail (we have two to choose from, the tiny ski track and the extra tiny ski track). A few pair of skis are available to borrow but if you plan to participate in the "Little chalet ski race" for children on Thursday, we recommend that you bring your own, to be sure to get a pair to ski on.
The little chalet ski race
Thursday March 5, 12 PM-3 PM. Come and race in the "Little chalet ski race" for children and take your photo with Gustav Vasa, who is greeting you by the finish line. If possible, bring your own skis to ensure you have a pair to ski on. Afterwards all skiers are treated to blueberry soup.
