Along Storgatan in Luleå there are three shopping malls; Smedjan, Shopping and Strand.

Several large Swedish business chains are represented in the malls.

The mall Shopping, is not only Sweden's, but also the world's first indoor mall. Shopping was designed by architect Ralph Erskine and opened on October 27, 1955.
