Hemberget's hiking trail

Ersnäs with 600 inhabitants, is one of some 30 villages in the municipality of Luleå. The Ersnäs village is situated 20 kilometres south of the center of Luleå. Here, you'll find Hemberget, a small mountain about 100 meters high. Since 2005 you'll find an excellent hiking trail along the mountain. It's about 6 kilometers long and along the trail you'll find find benches and a fireplace that is free to use. 

At the Visitors center in Luleå city, as well as at Gammelstads Visitors Center and Ralph Lundstensgården, you'll find free guides to the trail in both Swedish and English. 

After finishing the walk, make a visit to Ralph Lundstengården, a restaurant situated in the village. It has variable open hours, depending on season.
