Open-air Museum Hägnan

The Open-air Museum Hägnan is a cultural and historical center of expertise in Gammelstad Church Town that conveys the cultural heritage of the Norrbotten coastline. We have buildings from the 18th until the 20th century which gives a realistic picture of a row village. Throughout the year, the museum has a rich and varied range of activities and events for all ages.

During the winter season the Open-air Museum Hägnan is open occasionally – for instance during the Christmas market and the Fire festival. During the summer season, in mid-June to mid-August, the museum is open daily.
