Schaatsen Luleå

Welcome! February 22–March 2, competitions are arranged on natural ice, close to the city centre.

Once again we welcome Dutch skaters to us in Luleå. Seven years ago, the Dutch Skating Association organised their first Grand Prix on the ice track around Luleå's city centre. Over time, the event has grown and this year there will be even more events and races during Schaatsen Luleå. Here, even amateur skaters have the opportunity to experience the natural ice through the Sea Ice Classic skating competition.

In addition, the Skate4Air organization participates with the Daylight Challenge charity race, which runs from sunrise to sunset. In addition to ice skating, the Sea Ice Marathon, Luleå is organized – a running competition with distances of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km.
